Summary of skills mastered:

  • Have been learning and using web developing tools such as Microsoft FrontPage 98, HTML, JavaScript, and C++

Credit Assistant/Data Entry Clerk
(Boething Treeland Farms, Inc., 1998-Present):
Performing data entry, checking orders for correctness and other duties as assigned.

Accounting assistant (Peking Handicraft Inc., 1997-1998): Researched and analyzed purchase orders, material receiving reports and invoices. Audited and entered invoices for payments. Also maintained vendor files, kept petty cash record and funds for daily expenses, and analyzed expense reports for a sales department. Worked in a mainframe computing environment (IBM-AS/400) with JD Edwards accounting system. Also dealt with vendors over the phone.

Private tutor (1996-1997): Set up individual study plans and goals for two students to follow, and achieve. Reviewed their homework, and prepared them for examination. Kept academic records during semester to pin point the students� weaknesses in school. Periodically, also held discussions with the students to improve their study habits.

Data entry clerk (Ritz Tours and Travel Inc.,1992-1995): Input ticket sales data into a computerized database system (DBase III), and printed weekly sales report. Checked tour sales data, and entered them into Microsoft Excel to form, and print a monthly statement for each individual sub agency. Filed a copy of the ticket, report and statements as future reference. Operated fax and copy machine as needed. Composed business correspondences in Microsoft Word as requested by the bookkeeper and travel agents. Occasionally, helped bookkeeper to record petty cash entries, and make daily cash deposit to the bank.
